Earth Day Activities
Due to Covid, many Earth Day celebrations have been canceled this year. However, there are still several safe activities that you can participate in to give back to your community. Listed below are a variety of events around the Greater New Haven area. You don’t have to bring supplies to participate in any of these activities, so all you have to do is show up!
Rock to Rock Earth Day Ride

Rock to Rock is a group that started in 2008, and it raised $10,000 for local environmental groups that year. Since then, they have raised over $1.95 million.
Rock to Rock invites participants to bike from East Rock and back, offering a few different routes based on mileage. This year, participants will have staggered starts in small groups to keep the event COVID-safe. Rock to Rock raises money for numerous local organizations, and riders can choose how they would like their money to be distributed.
