Updated: Feb 16, 2022

Q: What subject do you teach?

A: I am currently teaching a geometry course with mainly middle school students and some upper school students. This is actually the first year for me to teach high schoolers.

Q: What would you like your student to know about you?

A: I have a one-year-old son, and I teach him at home. Thus I am super excited to teach the students here as I am teaching my son.

Q: What did you do before coming to Hamden Hall?

A: I used to teach in Norwalk public schools, CT. Before that, I was working in the field of open outcry, a popular method for communicating trade orders in trading pits.

Q: Where can students find you for extra-help?

A: W38, except for Thursday. I also accept appointments during study hall. I have D period free. Everybody’s welcome to visit!

Q: What do you like about Hamden Hall so far?

A: I love how supportive the community is, both faculty and students. The enthusiasm and eagerness to learn in the class fascinates me. I also like the classroom size because it allows individual learning to be much more accessible.

Q: What do you do for leisure?

A: I spend my time with my family, my wife and my one-year-old son. I also like traveling and exploring new restaurants.

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: Pizza. It is hard to not like pizza.

Q: What emoji represents you best?

A: 🏖️, cuz I love fishing at the beach.

Q: What are some of the challenges you have faced during COVID?

A: Trying to teach by wearing a mask. Because peer collaboration becomes much more difficult, I try to include some activities for people to cooperate, but it is hard.

Q: Catchphrase?

A: Mistakes are proof you are trying.

Q: Favorite animal?

A: I used to have a dog. Now we are planning to have a new puppy for our son. It is always nice to have somebody to grow up with.
